English website online!

During my work in Laos in 1997- 2000 I have met many people from many different countries. Because of the new English website more people can be updated on all the new developments in the South of Laos. Many of them now can join us actively in thinking and doing to strengthen our organisation and to build new networks.

English website online!

Thanks to NCIM we have a brand new Dutch website since the fall of 2009.

The Dutch website has multiplied the activities of our foundation manifold.

Just so already four Dutch volunteers have been active in Laos, we have found many new volunteers in the Netherlands who help us with PR and fundraising and many more schools have become active.

As you can see, recently we also have a website in English. During my work in Laos in 1997- 2000 I have met many people from many different countries.

Because of this new English website they can be updated on all the new developments in the South of Laos.

Many of them now can join us actively in thinking and doing to strengthen our organisation and to build new networks.

With the new website we can present ourselves better to participating organisation or organisations we hope will join us. An added bonus is that we can be more easily reached by organisations who want to learn from us, or who want to support our work.

This week I received a letter from a girl in Milwaukee, U.S. Her family originaly comes from Laos and she wants to do a project on Laos and she asked us information on the climate in Laos.

We're very happy with al these developments.

We would like to improve our youth-page. There is a lot of information on it, but it is not very well organised. Not only children, but also adults want to take action. Our website has to support them in that.

Schools can take a leading role in that. That's why we want to improve our lesson-material and to offer it in a more structured way.

Do you know someone who can help us with this or anyone who wants to contribute to our work in and for Laos? Would you be so kind as to forward this e-mail? It would be wonderful to find people who can help us realise  our ideas.
