Organize after-school activities

The district authorities are not eager to support activities at school and during during school hours. They consider it a disturbance of the curriculum and they find it hard to combine new activities with their culture.

Because the activities take place outside school, the teachers can get to know these new ideas in a non-confrontational way. They hear the stories from the kids and can have a look themselves, watching from the sidelines. You can play soccer with the kids, for example, or dance or make music or give a hygiene training in a fun way (toothbrushing for example), just one afternoon, or for a couple of days.

Minimal commitment: 2,5 to 3 weeks.
